Signs that actually get noticed after the sun goes down.

For nearly two decades we've designed, fabricated and installed illuminated signage for storefronts, vineyards, breweries and civic buildings across Marin and Sonoma counties. Every sign leaves our shop wired by hand and tested before it travels.

What we build

A small workshop, a long list of capabilities.

Garth and the crew handle every stage in-house — design, metal & acrylic fabrication, LED wiring, permit drawings, installation and the late-night service calls when a transformer finally gives up.

How we work

Six honest steps, no surprises.

We've been doing this long enough to know what a project actually costs and how long it actually takes. You'll get straight answers from the first call onward.

1

Site visit

Garth comes out, measures the wall, photographs the building and asks what you want the sign to feel like.

2

Concept & quote

Two or three illustrated concepts within ten business days. Fixed price, no hidden charges.

3

Permits

We prepare engineered drawings and file with the city on your behalf.

4

Fabrication

Built on Locust View Drive in our 4,200-square-foot Novato workshop.

5

Installation

Our crew installs, weatherproofs and energises the sign. Inspector signoff same day.

6

Care

We schedule a check-in at six months and stay on call as long as the sign is up.

What people say

Nineteen years of repeat customers.

Garth walked into our café, sketched something on a napkin, and three weeks later we had the prettiest sign on the block. We get compliments on it weekly.

Sarah ReillyOwner, Stinson Beach Coffee

We needed five monument signs for a new tasting room and Jameson was the only shop willing to match the historical lettering on our 1890 building. Worth every dollar.

A storm took out our blade sign on a Saturday night. Garth was there before lunch on Sunday with a temporary fix and a permanent one a week later.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

Don't see your question here? Garth answers the phone himself most weekday mornings. Call (415) 884-2298.

How long does a typical sign take?
From the first site visit to a fully-installed sign, plan on six to ten weeks. About half of that is permitting and city review — the actual build is usually two to three weeks.
Do you handle permits and city approval?
Yes. We've filed in Novato, San Rafael, Mill Valley, Sausalito, Petaluma, Sonoma, San Anselmo and unincorporated Marin and Sonoma counties. Engineered drawings and structural calcs are included in every quote that needs them.
How long do your LED signs last?
We rate our outdoor LED modules at 50,000 hours — roughly 12 years of dusk-to-dawn operation. The aluminum returns and powder coats we use last considerably longer.
What's the warranty?
Five years on workmanship, two years on electronics, and we'll service any failure on a sign we built for the lifetime of the sign at cost.
Do you work outside Marin and Sonoma?
Occasionally — we've installed in Napa, Solano and the Peninsula. Anything outside a 90-mile radius of Novato gets travel charges added to the quote.
Can you match an existing sign?
In almost every case, yes. Bring us a photograph or a piece of the old sign and we'll match the typography, materials and lighting style.
